You have the power to assign points and deduct points from your classmates based on your assessment of them, which helps me evaluate their performance and determine their final grade. Like Bilbo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings, you have the power!

While your scoring will help determine their grade for the course, you are also being evaluated and scored based on a variety of factors.

As you score (or forget to score because you're on TikTok or doing something else), you will also be earning or losing points. Additionally, you’ll be assessed on a baseline that the system and I have set, which will gauge your understanding (or lack thereof) of the material.

The better and more critical your scoring, the better your final grade will be. However, poor scoring trends can also push your grade lower. Smart scoring can be the deciding factor to push you to a higher grade!
