Christopher is a professor and entrepreneur building at the intersection of AI infrastructure and semiconductors. The work is in stealth mode.
It is being developed at Harvard and MIT, through two venture-building courses, Field X at Harvard Business School and Revolutionary Ventures at the MIT Media Lab, while Christopher completes a Mid-Career MPA at Harvard Kennedy School.
The Path Here
As Founder and CEO of Emergent Line, the advisory firm he founded in 2020, Christopher has advised enterprises, governments, and institutional investors on AI strategy, capital allocation, and geopolitical positioning. From June 2023 to August 2025 he served as Special Advisor to the President and Governing Board of Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) on artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and fintech, supporting the institution’s AI transformation. That work made one pattern clear: AI ambitions meet their limits in infrastructure, capital, and control.
He is now applying that experience to advancing the future of AI infrastructure.
Research
He is the principal architect of Sovereign AI Finance (SovFin.ai), on how nations finance and sustain AI infrastructure, and the creator of the Global AI Bill of Rights (BillofRights.ai). His work on rights-based AI governance dates to 2021.
Academic & Institutional Engagement
He teaches as Professor of Practice in Applied AI at EGADE Business School, where he designed and teaches a graduate course on the ethics and governance of applied AI, and is an Industry Advisor at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Cornell Tech. Forbes México named him one of Mexico’s 35 AI leaders in 2024. Based in Boston, MA.
