Evaluate the contributions of your classmates for the quality, accuracy, usefulness, and preparedness for the class.
You have the power to give points and remove points from your classmates based on your assessment of them. Like Bilbo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings, you have the power!
While your scoring will help determine their grade for the course, you are also being evaluated and scored based on a variety of factors.
As you score (or forget to score because you're on TikTok or doing something else), you will also be earning or losing points. You will also be assessed on a baseline that the system and I have set, which will gauge your understanding (or lack thereof) of the material.
The better and more critical your scoring, the better your final grade will be, which can be the deciding factor to push you to a higher grade. Poor scoring trends can push your grade lower.
